Rediscover the history, culture and arts of the Medieval period at the Abbey Museum these Winter school holidays! Kids Dig It! returns June 29th - July 1st with Medieval Family Fun. Enjoy hands on, educational activities with the whole family! Suited for ages 5 - 12 years.

Kids can:

• Practise with a bow & arrow, guided by our Archery team

• Design your own hand-painted shield inspired by Medieval Heraldry

• Uncover artefacts in the Archaeological Dig

• Discover the world of medieval Knights, Weaponry and Armour with hands-on workshop featuring armour, chainmail and weapons to feel and try on!

• Enjoy games, quizzes and more inside the Museum

Activity Pass (valued $10pp) includes ALL Scheduled Activities.

We've made booking your Scheduled Activities easier too!
You can now book all 4 Scheduled Activities (Archery, Dig, Crafts & Workshop), for all participants in your group, in only 1 click of the button! 

Simply select Activity Group of choice -now named Time Travellers, History Hunters, Ancient Explorers or Junior Archaeologists to book a complete schedule of activities for the day (MUST be booked in the EXTRAS section). See below for the scheduling details of each Activity Group:

Time Travellers (Green) ^*May be Photographed* - Schedule of Activities:

History Hunters (Blue) ^ - Schedule of Activities:

- 1.30pm - 2.15pm Workshop

^History Hunters and Time Travellers groups are most suitable for children with diverse needs, with high focus activities in the morning and flexible at-your-own-pace afternoon activities.

Ancient Explorers (Red) - Schedule of Activities:
- 10am-10.45am Workshop
- 11am - 11.45am Craft

- 12.30pm - 1.15pm Archaeological Dig
- 1.30pm - 2.15pm Archery

Junior Archaeologists (Yellow) - Schedule of Activities:

Doors open at 9:30am for activities to start at 10:00am.

The Abbey Cafe is open Monday - Friday, 10am - 2pm.

TICKETING INCLUSIONS:

We've simplied the ticketing process.

Select 1 Adult + 1 Child which includes 1 activity pass, plus any additional children $10ea.

Additional Adult $15 (no activity pass)

Infants (4yrs & under) - FREE if NOT PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITY. Archery unsuitable for children under 4. Otherwise select child $10 ticket if child under 4 wanting to participate in craft/dig activities.

Activity Pass valued at @ $10pp. - Select in the EXTRAS section.
